Welcome to Maharashtra Cabs. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our cab booking services, website, and mobile application. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Definitions

• "Service" refers to the cab booking and transportation services provided by Maharashtra Cabs.
• "User" or "You" refers to any person using our services.
• "Driver" refers to the professional drivers associated with our service.
• "Platform" refers to our website, mobile application, and other digital interfaces.

Use of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm drivers or other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Bookings and Cancellations

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. We will confirm your booking via SMS/email. Booking confirmation does not guarantee a specific vehicle model unless explicitly stated.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation Charges: 25% of Total Fair.

Pricing and Payment

Fares

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and applicable taxes. Prices may vary during peak hours or high-demand periods.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets. Payment must be completed before or immediately after the ride.

Additional Charges

• Waiting charges: as per discussion
• Toll charges: As per actual
• Parking fees: As per actual
• Night charges: For rides between 11 PM and 6 AM
• Cleaning charges: For damage or excessive mess in the vehicle

Conduct and Safety

Passenger Responsibilities

• Treat drivers with respect and courtesy
• Comply with local laws and regulations
• Not carry illegal, dangerous, or prohibited items
• Wear seatbelts during the ride
• Not consume alcohol or drugs during the ride

Safety Measures

We implement safety measures including driver verification, vehicle inspection, and GPS tracking. However, you are responsible for your own safety and belongings during the ride.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fare amount of the specific ride
• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for driver actions beyond our reasonable control

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by Maharashtra Cabs or our licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes:

• Contact our customer support within 24 hours of the incident
• We will investigate and attempt to resolve the issue amicably
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason deemed necessary for the safety and security of our platform.
